Things don't always turn out how we imagined or hoped.
In a perfect world, boy meets girl;
they fall deeply in love, marry,
and live happily ever after.

In a perfect world,
there are no scars or broken hearts;
no doubts, no fears, no complications.
The only tears are ones of boundless joy.

But this isn't a perfect world.
Hearts are broken and scars don't heal,
and there's no such thing as happily ever after.
