Poem by Tomás Ó Cárthaigh
Waking the night now that morning has broken
The dull grey sky looks gloomy in the morning
As if to say that you are warned the sun it shall not shine
And if your caught in rain... you got a warning.

Waiting for the sun to shine, on a spring day
Waiting for the world to wake
I'll walk not for any other reason than to pass the time
I shall walk the morning for its own sake...
