A woman gets more than what she wishes for in a one night stand. (Needs revising!)
Please leave me a review and I will gladly return the favor!!!
I am writing a novel inspired by this short story.  I switch the POV between the characters so you can get a feel of their personalities.  I hope that it is not confusing to read.

(Her.)

The vampires crowded the dark corners of the room, as bats do caverns avoiding the sunlight.  I too, stood in the shadows, babysitting my alcoholic beverage, wishing I were anywhere but here.  I came to this mainstream club in hopes of finding a good time, but with the lack of smiles I was receiving, colors, and eye contact, my very presence made me feel uncomfortable.  Nobody had a hint of a soul, and this party was just as dead.

Cigarette smoke dominated the air around me, enveloping the red curtains in a gray haze.  I started craving a smoke myself; just to feel apart of the atmosphere.  Deep down, I knew I would only embarrass myself with the coughing fit.

This sea of eternal darkness was starting to hurt my eyes.  I needed to bask in some good old fluorescent lighting.  I hoped the bathroom, of all places, had some life in it.

Once within the walls of ceramic and tiles, I stared at my reflection, relieved the room was only occupied by flies and fallen toilet paper.  Who was I was staring at?  Was it a forgotten face, a long-lost memory?  My foundation and powder covered my freckles and rosy cheeks to reveal alabaster flesh.  My lips were painted with dark burgundy, while my blue eyes seemed to jump from blackened rings.  I looked like an angry doll.  The only thing that had not been masked by makeup, or black velvet, was my long copper red hair.  My lovely locks seemed on fire against my simple and tight black dress.  I could not help but stare at the monster I had created not 4 hours ago.  Though I was pleased with what I was viewing, why was I finding it so hard to find company?  The very thought of a person, in the next room, possible enough to entertain me for the evening faded away.  Next, I made the best decision I had all night…  It was time to go home.

My vision went completely blank after re-entering the vampire lair.  The loud bass, from the music overhead, seemed to be shattering my eardrums.  Once my eyes adjusted to the dim lighting, I noticed a single man gazing at me from across the room.  At first I ignored it, rushing towards the Exit sign like the world was crashing down around me.  But then my pace slowed, and I found myself being drawn to that mysterious face.

There was something almost animalistic about his expression, so determined.  Almost as a predator viewed it’s prey.  My heart raced and my sex pulsed as I realized he was still watching my every move.  From across the room, I could tell he was a tree of a man.  And his shoulders were covered with his long ebony hair.  His face beamed through the shadows, as a white rose does amongst a thousand red.  As a small smile danced across his lips, my instincts took over and I bolted outside.  Luckily, I only lived a couple blocks away.

Though the sheer clutter of my apartment bothered me, I was calmed by the silence and the clean air.  I locked the deadbolt in the door and sank into the cushion of my tan couch.

Thoughts raced through my head about the club as I stared at the cheap imitation print of Salvador Dali’s painting of “The Sleep” above my recliner chair.  What had made me so uneasy about the very presence of that man?  He could have been that one person who made my night livable, maybe even my life.  I grew angry with myself for leaving so abruptly and letting myself become so gullible.  There was nothing I could do about it now.  That beast of a man was gone.

(Him.)

The woman’s hypnotic scent hung heavy throughout the air like a thick fog.  I knew that smell.  My compulsion to take her rose to unnerving levels, but I could not do it here.  Édouard would not allow us to be exposed that easily.  I watched her leave without even looking back.  Inside, I knew she had noticed me.  The club suddenly grew very dark, like the only light bulb had gone out.  Those around me were numbed by drugs and seeped back to their corners, so only the cherries of their cigarettes were seen.  I knew not her name, nor address

The night sky appeared liquid, almost as a black candle’s wax flows away from the flame burning it; not a star or moon in sight, only rolling clouds.  Stepping onto the concrete pavement was similar to leaving a funeral, the sadness and death is contained in that one room, never to bleed out.  Imbeciles dressed in black pushed past me and walked into their world of acceptance.

I followed her scent of adrenaline and blood to an apartment building, obviously built just years before.  The perfect landscaping job would not last any longer than the low crime scene’s elevation.  Staring up at the only soft glow from a window on the 3rd floor, I noticed my hands were shaking, and my wings sticking to my back from beneath my large trench coat.  Never before had I been so nervous, or objective, to carry out a mission.  Édouard, and the elders, would consider that a weakness.

(Her.)

Being underneath the stinging water pressure of the shower was almost therapeutic.  My alabaster skin was now a flush of pink, and my layers of makeup flowed down the drain like a second personality.  It felt good to be in the secure dwellings of my home again.

Just the thought of the strange man, I had left back at the club, excited me.  Every part of my body had grown sensitive due to my sudden boost of adrenaline.  I needed to release the tension.  The white shower puff glided intimately over my breasts, my stomach, and made it’s way down to my sex.

I was so engrossed with pleasure, that I almost did not hear the knock at the front door.  I peered out from behind the curtain, to make sure I had heard right.

    I had.

A second pattern of light tapping broke the silence.  I reluctantly threw on my bathrobe and headed towards my visitor, leaving the water running.  I was in no such mood for company.

Through the peephole, I saw no one.  Odd.  I unlocked the deadbolt and looked both ways down the hallway.  Still, there was no one in sight.

I jumped back into the shower, reassuring myself that it was just someone at the wrong door.  Despite the temperature of the water, my heart fluttered and the tiny hairs on the back of my neck stood on end.  Something was wrong.

(Him.)

I watched her silhouette go still from behind the shower curtain.  Before she knew what had happened, I took an agile leap beside her, covered her mouth with one hand, and wrapped my free arm around her slender waist.

Her blue eyes were wide with confusion, and shock, as my hand muffled her screams.  The shower curtain was partially wrapped around her convulsing body and arms, letting water splash all over the floor.

My gloved hand pushed her against the tiled wall and looked more deeply into those sapphire eyes.  My large wings expanded from my body to block out most of the light, appearing to fill most of the room.

She stopped struggling, and her screams turned into cries as she stared at the water dripping down my bare chest.

“Do you want me to harm you?” I asked her softly with my deep voice, making sure my fangs were exposed.

She replied by violently shaking her head no, trying to avoid looking into my green eyes.

“Then you will let me do what I came here for in silence,” I continued whispering.

Amidst the steam, I could smell the scent of blood.  My mouth watered and my wings twitched with excitement as I carried her to a bare mattress on a steel bed frame.

(Her.)

My attacker carried me to my bed and tossed me down, like I weighed nothing.

I immediately tried getting away by rolling from him.

He was so unbelievably quick, that I did not have a chance to see the silver handcuffs.  The creature isolated my arms to the bedposts on either side of me, leaving my legs free.

I could not make myself scream due to shock.  My body quivered in the cool air, goose bumps rising all over, while I kept my legs together.

The winged man rose before the foot of the bed and stared down at my nude body.  The tears rolled down my face as he tried parting my legs.  In a flash, I began kicking and screaming like a mad woman.  His body stood like a brick wall against my blows.

A cheap red tie was forced in my mouth, and tightly bound behind my neck.  My lips ached, and the room began to spin.

(Him.)

I looked down at the red haired beauty before me.  Her pale face was tearstained while her body trembled with fear.  Thoughts of my mission raced through my head, I simply could not believe what I had to do.  Maybe there was a way around it?  Maybe I did not have to end her life?

(Her.)

The room started to go blurry as I watched the man slowly removes his leather gloves.  He tossed them aside on the floor, and I could have sworn I saw gray claws retract.  My bed squeaked underneath his body weight as he gracefully and slowly crawled overtop of me.  I did not have the strength to fight anymore.  If my death was coming, I hoped it went by quick.

Up close, his face was strikingly handsome.  He looked like something that only girls dreamed about.  I turned my head away quickly, for fear that I would get lost in the green waters of his eyes, so deep and wild.  Black, silky locks shielded my view from everything but this man.  His nose was straight and turned slightly upward at the tip, while a strong square chin cradled his full lips.  What was this beautiful creature going to do to me?

He moved his face closer to mine and gently licked my tears.  I absorbed his beauty, unable to turn away this time.  His facial expression changed from chiseled stone to sorrow, compassion.  And for a brief moment, I had the urge to kiss those full lips.

I watched his brown, leathery wings relax and fold against his back as he slowly ran his tongue down my white flesh.  I quivered with secret delight, though I think he had noticed for his eyes flickered up to mine for a second.

His tongue wrapped around my nipples one at a time, making them erect, hard.  My breathing slowed as I felt his wet tongue meet my delicate sex.  He gave it a couple quick licks, then I felt one of his fingers slide easily into me.  I arched my back without thinking.  I could not believe how wet I had become in such a short amount of time.

A short chuckle emerged from his throat that caught my gaze.  His finger was covered and dripping with blood, my blood.

“Hiding something from me, I see?”  His voice broke the silence like a tree falling in a vacant forest.

Before I could respond, I watched him take all that red fluid into his mouth.  I had never had anyone willingly want to give me pleasure while bleeding.  After doing so, his green eyes were flooded with black and his fangs protruded more out of his gums.  I did not know if that should have frightened me, or turned me on.

He must have read my thoughts, because his mouth returned to my sex, his tongue lapping up my juices and his soft lips cupping my clit.  Two of his long, slender fingers skillfully entered me and began massaging my insides, while his free hand kneaded one of my breasts.  The man’s eyes remained on my face, drawing in my facial expressions and sudden twitches from my body.

I could feel my orgasm approaching fast, like an earthquake in a glass house.  Amidst the ecstasy, a sudden sharp pain erupted deep from within.  I screamed as the combination of pain and pleasure filled my body to the brim.  A sudden gush flowed out of me, filling the creature’s mouth.  My body collapsed into the sweat soaked mattress as I tried catching my breath.

As the room began to go dark, I looked down at my attacker.  The entire lower part of his face was drenched with blood.

“Now you will bleed no more.”  I heard him say.

Before I knew what had happened, the world faded away.

(Him.)

After licking all the blood off my hands, I carefully unlocked the handcuffs, making sure not to disturb her sleep.  She had cooperated better than I had expected.  I knew she would remain asleep till the next morning.  I looked around her apartment and covered her nude body with a bathrobe.  I proceeded to take a shower, to rid myself of her smell and fluids.

Thoughts filled my head about the elders and Édouard.  How would they react?  I surely would be punished for not carrying out my mission to the fullest.  But part of me did not care.  I was not a killer of innocence, of beauty.

I gathered my clothing and other items.  After dressing myself, I quietly closed the door, taking one last glimpse at that woman.  I hoped to never see her again.
