Coca-Cola Calendar Girl
In a red and white bathing suit
she smiled down upon me.
I was looking not for her
but for January twenty three.
Was it a Tuesday or Thursday?
I guess it didn't really matter
come to think of it
when she smiled that way.

Every month a new friend,
exchanged when days and weeks
marked a month's end.
Where did they come from
these bathing beauties?
Were they there to mark time,
or just to sit and tease?

I don't know if they sold cola,
refreshing, cold and smooth,
designed to quench and sooth,
but they definately made me smile,
with beauty, grace, and style.
I long for those lost days,
but think of the Coca Cola girls,
when a friendly look
and flirty smile comes my way.
