Machiavelli, is he really dead?
Machiavelli
O Prince of a so-called deceit
withered are your days of old
but your heart keeps up the beat

Come, O Niccolitto
and see the world by your eyes
slaves to your mind
and building the lies over lies

With respect, mio amico
not to insult or to swear by the words
but amazed in a surprise
how a dead would takeover the worlds?

Thy wind passed
and your scent lingers in deep
sweet or awfully disgusting
you'll know amid laughters and a weep

Antimachiavellismians!
how they make me laugh!
the man is dead long ago
and politics follow his path!

Viva al Principe!
who died and lives among us
now I can see clearly
a Machiavelli, in each of us!
