A short piece about a short walk.
I was walking down a sidewalk in New Jersey the other day.
Cold, and windy.
There was this guy, walking his dog.
As I passed him I said, "Howdy."
"How ya doin there buddy?" he replied in his hilarious, New Jersey accent.
"Just fine partner, nice dog." (I didn't like his dog...)

He didn't say anything else.
And that, was the best conversation I had all day..

A little farther down the sidewalk a sudden gust blew some beautiful red leaves around me...
there was also a dead bouquet and a McDonald's cup...

(What a lovely place)
