the only pain is from inside, it's trying to get out.
Darkness in my life, need a light to see.
Darkness has a grip, it keeps you far from me.

Wrapped up in a jacket, with arms tied behind my back,
darkness all around me, please open the door a crack.

Softness all around me, on the floors and on the walls,
no pain can be felt in this room, from bumps slams or falls,

the only pain is from inside, it's trying to get out.
Venting only helps a bit, but that is why I shout.

Screams and yells all around, coming from inside.
From my poor life that I live, I would love to hide.

But here I sit on the floor, the hurting it's still here.
When no more noise can be heard, it comes out in a tear.

When will i hurt no more? I am wanting well to go.
That would be a joyous day, a day I'll never know.
