A poem that a friend of mine sent me
The birds

By marc Denton

Here is a poem a friend of mine sent me

Birds, birds everywhere,

From which can come hope or disappear,

From the ones who suck nectar to ones that flesh they tear,

Birds, birds everywhere.

From giants like ostrich and cassowary, to midgets like the humming bird and robins, all sizes, all shapes,

Some eat like vultures, condors and ravens, some eat fruit like grapes.

Birds, birds everywhere,

All sizes, all shapes, all diets, like ox cachous or pear,

So from this I declare,

That although birds may bring despair,

There beauty is everywhere.
