Written this when boredom struck, so it is totally random. This is about the TV
The invention of the television is eminently one of the greatest inventions at all times. However, as time went on, television has gradually become omnipresent. The fact that the television is owned by almost every households will certainly be a good news( as it means the living standard of the society has improved), if we can ignore its power in isolating one to the world, and the magical spell that it casts to build an invisible barrier between friends.

Due to the omnipresence of the television, neighbors no longer ask each other to come around to appreciate the marvelous box, friends no longer meet up to hang around but stay at home and behold the images and videos produced on the screen instead, while obliviously ignoring they are already enchanted.

After the invention of the television, people realized the marvelous box will be merely a box if they don't come up with stuff to fill the box. As a result, television shows were born. All they did contribute to relationships were building more barriers and blockades between them.

Friendships were pierced, neighbors became strangers, that's what I deem the television has done in short.
