A poem I wrote after a breakup.
I smile because I'm thinking of you.
I laugh because I remember evything we did,
but still I'm hurting inside.

I live because I know you're still alive.
I cry because I miss you,
and still I'm hurting inside.

I look at you because I wonder what your thinking.
I miss you because I loved you,
I wonder if I'll ever stop hurting inside.

Now I have a boyfriend.
I know he loves me,
but still I'm hurting inside.

I don't cry anymore,
I don't look at you as much,
But still I'm hurting inside.

My hearts broken,
though it should be mending.
I'll never stop hurting inside.
