A tribute to my brother who died long before his time.
DEALING WITH DIFFICULTY

Out of the Blue, the storm was sure.

No hint of rain, the air smelled pure.

Around the corner would be pain,

Life to never be same again.

Gone was the picture he portrayed

Perfect facade no longer staid.

He was here, happy healthy, fine

Then he was gone, body and mind.

Was not allowed to grown older,

His hair never turned to be gray.

He never new what wrinkles were,

Were never  allowed to be made.

How to justify loss of  this kind.

How do I deal with this over time?

Where do I go to replace his joy?

Why does it hurt so loss of man-boy

We came through a life of dismay.

Brother to sister showing the way.

I am now one, heart is broken.

For all the words never to be spoken.

Now you are gone , It makes no sense

you were my rock,  now emptiness.

With each day, I try to forget

With each breath, pray I never will.
