when love is not what you think it is, and you realize your lover isn't either
I love you
til you walk in the door
I miss you
until I see your face.
I think you are smart
until you begin to speak...
I value your judgement
til you share your opinion.

I think you are wise
until I try to converse.
I long for your kiss
until you lean in...
I wish for every moment together
and then i want to cry.
I love you till I see you
and then i go
numb.
