8 Poems that i wrote.
POEM 1
I was one with the Music.
The melody was my breathing.
The bass my heart was beating.
World’s away it took me.
A freight train, in the silenced night.
Past painful memories,
and memories of delight.
As these images flash before my eyes,
I feel her warm embrace.
While dappled sunlight.
Streaks, my shadowed face.

POEM 2
Have you ever been high on life?
Have you ever dreamed of soaring, through the starry night?
Have you ever sung out in ecstatic joy?
Have you ever asked why?

Have you ever breathed in the night?
Have you ever just new that life was just right?
Have you ever lost your self in time?
Have you ever dined with angel’s that shine?

Poised, at the pinnacle of life you stand.
The beginning mixed with sweet eternity.
For the fury of Zeus, or Poseidon’s hand,
Can not in the least touch you Because you are free.

And while some days in life never end.
And you wonder why this life was for you sent.
And the days of suffering for only you meant.
You lift your face to a lonely star and see.
No one can touch you, for YOU ARE FREE.

POEM 3
For thousands of years, I’ve lived.
I’ve witnessed, the disease stricken yearning upon many a ship,
And I’ve seen the ravaged skin broken, at the hand of the Whip.

For thousands of years, I’ve lived.
I’ve known the holocausts, harrowing, horror.
I’ve cringed from the fascists cross of fire,
And been humbled by the tears of David’s Star.
I am what dances beyond the firelight.
I am the thrill of a chase in a raven’s flight.
I am weighting with arms open, just out of sight.
I am the glimpse of light. Than the darkness of night.

For thousands of years, I’ve lived.
For thousands of years, I’ve existed.
For thousands of years I’ve been dead.

For thousands of years, I’ve lived.
‘Neath Moon and sun I have traveled far,
Welcoming the, greedy and hard of heart.
I have taken the ones flawed with good, the ones with promise marred.

For thousands of years, I’ve lived.
Over time many names, have I been branded with.
Thanatos, Odin, and Yama, or the Grim reaper, yielding a scythe.
The women in white to Giltinė, which gave many a fright.
From, Angeu, to the black Angel, or to some known as the Angel of death.
But one name above all I have laid to rest.
This name is well known, lest we forget.
This name is who I am.
This name is death.

NOTE:POEM 3( The facists cross of fire reffers to the Nazi's Swastika, otherwise known as the cross of fire.)(Also, These names are from different languages and all refer to Death.)

Poem 4

Francesca, you are my shining star.
You are my idol, near or far.
You inspire me every day.
You are a smile and a sunshine ray.
You share your thoughts, and I share mine.
Even through the darkest of night’s you shine.
How can so much love radiate from someone?
Where does your motivation come from?
A gift to all of us, is your presence
You add to life your own effervescence.
You give life a meaningful essence,
Without seeming to try.
Francesca I will always look up to you.
With your encouraging smile, I could fly.
Francesca you are my idol.
If you only new.

NOTE POEM 4 (This poem was written to my sister)

POEM 5

We try to make the circle whole.
We each fit into our own role.
Can you see the uneasy laughs?
Trying to make the conversation last.
The wall of distrust, mistrust and lust,
The underlying want that teases and taunts.
Hidden behind the hand that humiliates,
is a lonely soul doomed to the same fate.
Why, is it always the same question?
I do not fit into this circle; I can not make it whole.
Why am I here at the bottom rung?
This is not for the faint of heart or highly strung.
Because the easy going and socially great, become great in this web of hate.
Oh! Hurt pride set aside, from displeasing pasts.
Uncaring words, in a flurried state.
It’s sad, and it makes me mad the way it is.
I will never be apart of the circle,
Although I may be standing in it.
I will never be daunting, or be the hand of humiliation.
I will be segregated, humiliated, the laughter of the nation.

Note POEM 5(This poem was written for all the kids who didn't fit in to the social circle.)
POEM 6

I was burdened, and I was falling under the weight.
here I stood in a panicked state.
Noticing color’s vibrant shades of grey,
In you lord I hope and pray.
That you will help carry this burden of grief.
Lift this troublesome weight of my shoulders

POEM 7

I ran.
I ran for the thrill.
I ran to ease the pain, and I am running still.
I ran to fight the memories,
I ran till ragged breath.
I ran until my sins were washed away with my streaming sweat.
I ran past the, laughter, I ran past the wall.
I ran standing tall with my feet gliding, never to halt.
I ran until my eyes were clouded, I ran until my suffering enshrouded.
I ran through my life, each step to start a fresh.
I ran for the rush.
I ran through the day and well into the night.
I ran towards the light.
I collapsed, with my last breath and whispered
‘ I am happy now for the first time in my life’.

POEM 8.

I heard the music come from over the hill one day.
It was calling me back, to where I used to laugh and play.
I followed the music over the hill, only yesterday.
And what I found was a forest full of whispering tree’s.
Grown healthy and strong in the forgotten spring.

I heard the music come from over the hill one day.
It was calling me back, to when I used to laugh and play.
I followed the music over the hill, only yesterday.
And what I found was a sea with waves bigger than me,
crashing down around me, that is what I found.

The music doesn’t play for me any more, for I have grown old.
And the silence falls around me, an unforgiving cold.
Why doesn’t the sun shine for me like it used to when I was young.
Some would say I changed I would say there wrong.
But one thing I remembered through my numbered days of mine.
Don’t weep or waste a minute of life because you can’t travel back in time.
