Poems about the love God has for us.
The quiet peace before the sun rises.
The sound of water as it rushes down the hill.
Crickets chirping at night, birds singing in the morning.
Warmth from the morning sun.
A fresh, white blanket of snow.
The stars shinning in the sky.
All these proclaim there is a God if you listen carefully.
An all powerful Creator, who has given us life and free agency.
At times, life doesn't seem fair.
Things could have been different, better.
Lives are cut short, freedom is limited by God and sometimes by man.
He, who comprehends all, will and give mercy and justice as only He knows how.

The Glory of God
In the furnace of affliction, Thou hast formed me.
The trials are making me a better person than I would have otherwise been.
Thou hast given me a taste from the bitter cup Thou once partook.
Savior, Thou didst decend below all that all might be drawn to Thee.
May all I do be according to Thy will.

Restoration
I have been blessed above and beyond my comprehension.
At times, I have seen how this mortal life holds back my progession.
I am harrowed up by the sins and lusts of the flesh that so easily set me back.
My mind longs to be free from the imperfect.
Someday my spirit will seperate from my body.
Restoration of my body and spirit is a day long awaited.
The mind or spirit will be free to work along with a perfect body.
My failures in life will be a catalyst to improvement.
Eternal life will speed my progression.
As great as my blessings will be, they will not be beyond my comprehension.

Only darkness lies before my feet
although, I know what lies ahead.
The unknown weighs heavily
not only on the mind but on the spirit.
I walk it alone no one can help me.
or walk the path that I go.
Questions and doubts fill my mind.
Sadness and dread fill my heart.
I wish it to be quick but I know it won't.
At times, it seems impossible.
Into the darkness, I must go.
Not my will but thine be done.
