My happy poems.
Smile:

Smile for birth.
For knowing for every bad person,
There is a good.
Smile for friends.
For knowing they have your back,
When someone hurts you.
Smile for children.
For while adults are corrupt,
Children have their innocence.
Smile for love.
For though others pretend it,
You never will.
Smile for joy.
For however many frowns,
A smile will turn it upside down.

Laugh!:

Laugh!
Because it's healthy.
Laugh!
Where no one can hear.
Laugh!
To make sure you do have laugh lines.
Laugh!
Just so someone else will.
Laugh!
Turn that dark day bright.
Laugh!
If only just to laugh.

A Friend:

What really makes a friend?
Their automatic hatred,
For the person who broke your heart.
How they say they're here,
Especially when life throws a curveball.
The way they over-exert themselves,
Trying to cheer you up.
And when one of you is in trouble,
The other's not far behind.
When going clothes shopping,
They tell you everything that looks bad.
If you need to bawl your eyes out at 3 A.M.,
They're only a phonecall away.
Now that,
Is a friend.

Music:

She's swaying to her love,
Constantly moving.
She just can't stop,
Her hips in sync with the rythm,
Hands twitling above her head.
Her eyes are closed,
Mouth slightly parted.
As she sways ever more aggressive,
To the addictive beat.
It'll stay with her for a week,
She can already tell.
The beat that will never leave,
Will consume her mind.
Her thoughts.
No matter how many are around,
There's only her.
And her love.
Her love,
Of music.
Some say they share her love,
But no one truly knows,
The meaning behind such poetic notes.
The rifts.
The melodies.
The harmonies.
No one truly knows.
And as she sways to her favorite song,
A hand caresses her hip.
A caress of a lover who knows,
Knows of her other love.
Her love,
Of music.
