it's describing a book. yes a book. people aren't literal enough. XD
I can read you.
You have the spine to say it to me in person.
That hard cover keeps you safe, but when you open up, you're frail.
Your words may be correct at times, but at others, they are false.
You may be big, you may be thin, but I'll judge you by your content.
That story of yours, is it good?
Is it real, or is it make believe?
The wonders of your imagination, amazing.
I have seen many of you,
common, though you can be original.
You may get torn, but you'll always speak.
Don't turn your back on me, I'll know what you're about.
You're alone, surrounded by the words in which you assume.
I'll probably end up forgetting you, though you may be amazing.
Wear your heart on your sleeve, let people in.
You can be horrifying, depressing, euphoric, and many other things.
You dedicate yourself to someone you love,
they've inspired you.
You are incredibly literal,
and you're obvious.
So obvious, that I can read you.
