Werewolves, predator drones, rap, metal, angels, demons, gangsters, and a love story.
Continuation of All the Lonely People. This is a rough draft for a webcomic I'm writing. Please leave questions/comments/suggestions

Action is denoted by ()'s whispering by **'s. This part will make no sense unless you read the first part.

(Johnny leans over a chemistry book. his head droops as sleep comes)
Werewolf: *Johnny...*
(Johnny jerks back up, wide awake)
Johnny: What?! No!
Werewolf: *Miss me?*
Johnny: But it just happened yesterday! Its too soon!
Werewolf: *But you liked it so much...*
Johnny: I won't do it again. Not this time.
Werewolf: *Why not johnny? It's not wrong...*
Johnny: Yes it is! I hurt people!
Werewolf: But no one blames you johnny... you can't control it...
Johnny: But its me! I'm the one hurting people!
Werewolf: Well you don't have to hurt people. no one has to gets hurt...
Johnny: I Can't do it!
(Johnny has curled into a fetal position by this point)

Werewolf: You'd just have to stay in your room. you can control it!
Johnny: I should fight it!
Werewolf: Then fight it the next time! Enjoy this last time!
Johnny: But... but -
Werewolf: DO IT! DO IT KNOW!!!
Johnny: No! no i won't!
Werewolf: YES! YOU WILL!!
Johnny: *i'll...i'lll...i'll do it.*
(Werewolf makes an odd sound of happiness)
Johnny: *But your wrong...people always get hurt... Stitches always gets hurt...*
(Johnny begins his transformation into a werewolf. he leaps out the window as a full werewolf)

(You see maincharacter at his front door. He unlocks it and walks in)
Cosette: *Hey. How'd it go?*
Maincharacter: Relevance said she'll let me know whenever a band needs an extra person.
Cosette: How long will it hold us up for?
Maincharacter: I don't know. But i'll get a job soon. We'll be fine.
(Maincharacter holds Cosette)
Cosette: I know.
(Moments silence then Cosette smiles)
Cosette:You talked to Mamma Buddha didn't you?
Maincharacter: Ya. Turns out your right. She's a smart lady.
Cosette: What'd she tell you?
Maincharacter: Not much. She told me that it wasn't money that mattered. We'll go through hard times, but we'll make it.
Cosette: Ya... I hope she's right. I'm worried. They passed another tax today. The rent'll probably go up again.
(Maincharacter almost looses his calm but regains it before Cosette notices)
Maincharacter: It's ok. We'll make it. Worst comes to worse we can move to a different sector.
Cosette: You know that this is the only good sector that's affordable.
Maincharacter: I know. But things'll always get better in the end.
Cosette: Alright... Want some coffee?
(She smiles at Maincharacter. Her heart is obviously not in it, but he recognizes she's trying, and he returns the smile)
Maincharacter: Sure. Mix some cocoa in. That stuff tastes great.
(Cosette heads into the kitchen and begins making coffee)
Cosette: Mmm, that sounds good. Whip cream?
Maincharacter: Definitely. You gotta drizzle some chocolate syrup on it. That'd be good.
Cosette: That'd be amazing. Hey. You know what we should really add in? Carmel.
(Maincharacter laughs)
Maincharacter: Why stop there? Mix in some cinnamon.
Cosette: Mmmm... This is sounding better and better.
Maincharacter: You know what i haven't done in a really long time?
Cosette: Hmmm...?
Maincharacter: I haven't played my ukulele in forever.
(Cosette laughs)
Cosette: You should play me a song then! It'll be practice for the club!
Maincharacter: Ya, i'll practice for that long awaited day when a band needs a ukulele player. Hold on a sec - let me go get it.
(Cosette smiles as she mixes the coffee brew with the cocoa)
(Maincharacter practically falls down the stairs, hurrying with his ukulele)
Maincharacter starts into "I'm Yours" by Jason Mraz, but Cosette begins to sing with him.
(Suddenly his cell phone rings)
(Maincharacter glances down then does a double take)
Maincharacter: It's Relevance!
(Maincharacter picks the phone up)
Maincharacter: 'Lo?
Relevance: Come down to the club. Now. The gig's tomorrow, but we need to talk about it before then.
Maincharacter: Sweet! Who am i covering?
Relevance: No one. Its your own gig. That's why we have to talk.
Maincharacter: No joke!?!
Relevance: Be here in an hour.
Maincharacter: I got my own gig!!!!
(Cosette squeals)
Cosette: Honey that's great!
Maincharacter: But, what should i play? Like -
Cosette: Go! get to the club! Tell me afterwards! Oh I'm so excited!!
(Maincharacter grabs his coat and rushes out the door grinning at Cosette)

(Maincharacter enters the club)
(Relevance is waiting for him at the entrance, looking frustrated/impatient)
Relevance: Hurry up! follow me.
(Maincharacter follows oblivious to her mood)
(They walk into the DJ's room over the club)
(She slams the door. The only other people in the room are Chief and Paladin.)
Maincharacter: Paladin?!? Jesus Christ this is amazing!
Relevance: Be quiet and sit down.
Paladin: There's a huge concert tomorrow. Top floor of E.A.R.T.H. Right beneath the capital. We're spreadin the word tonight, so we need to know who's in or out. We got every big name there is, but last night one of our guys dropped out. We need to know if you can fill for him.
Maincharacter: Wait...I thought i was getting a gig?
Relevance: You are. He's out. Completely. You have his spot now.
Maincharacter: And ok, i haven't heard anything about a big concert. Why the hush hush?
(Relevance and Paladin exchange looks)
Paladin: This...concert...is gonna be unlike anything you've ever heard of. This is big. The biggest thing you'll ever be a part of. We didn't want another big band or rapper with an over-inflated ego in this. There are plenty of big names at this, but we need someone that can be in this without asking questions.
Maincharacter: What...? I'm confused. Ask questions about what?
Relevance: Look, just get up on stage and play. No matter what happens, just keep on playing. Just ignore everything. Just play your damn guitar. We have a drummer a bassist and an odd end guy. Upload the music to your mybook they need to play if you need them at all.
Maincharacter: Hey sounds good! No questions fine by me.
Relevance: Good. Concerts at 9:00 tomorrow. See you there.
(Maincharacter notices Paladin and Relevance are acting oddly tense)
Maincharacter: Ok... Hey. Thanks for the gig. I'll upload everything you need when i get home.
(Maincharacter gets out of the now awkward situation and leaves the club.)

(You see maincharacter uploading the music on his comp. Its dark out.)
(He walks up the stairs and into his and Cosettes room. He slides into the bed)
Cosette: *Hey baby. Did you get it all online yet?*
Maincharacter: Yup. Just finished.
Cosette: *So whatchya gonna play?*
(snuggles up close to her)
Maincharacter: *It's a surprise. You should come tomorrow. You'll enjoy it.*
(Cosette smiles)
Cosette: *I'd like that.*
Maincharacter: *thought you would. Good night baby*
Cosette: *'Night*
Maincharacter: See you in my dreams
Cosette: Can't wait. i'll meet you there

Why do we dream? Why does our subconscious fill our brain with that sweet suspension from reality? Our mind is a stage. Everyday, a drama - perhaps a comedy - plays itself across the vast expanse of our perception. But at night, all those hopes, dreams, feelings and notions flit across the stage in between acts. Our soul, the only audience stands in wonder, perhaps in confusion, tries to make sense out of the mess. It invents its own stories as to connect the various elements that strut about purposelessly on stage. Ironically, we see more in the plotless antics of the actors than what we do during the acts of the play that comprise our daily lives. All our fears... hide in the shadows, making us toss and turn. All our loves... spotlighted, their position to us shown. Amid the hustling and bustling of images and feelings, that may be the most significant. We see that which truly matters, apart from the commotion, standing there. We see what they mean to us. Perhaps the reason we dream...Is to remind us that there are some people that we can't bear parting with for eight hours.

(the next day Maincharacter's at the empty level right below the governmental sector standing behind a huge concert stage)
(Party and Talent are setting up equipment when Party spots Maincharacter)
Party: Yo its that kid!!
Talent: Wha?
Party: The guy that tagged along when you ran from the E.A.R.T.H. guards. He's right there
Talent: YO GUY!
(Maincharacter looks up from his guitar)
Maincharacter: Woah! You guys! How'd you guys get here?
Talent: We're in the concert. I'm in Let us Forget.
Maincharacter: Oh ya! I saw you in the club a couple of days ago. Damn. You're insane.
Talent: Thanks bro. But shit man, Relevance told us she was bringin in another guy, but i never woulda guessed it was you. You got serious rep man. Relevance and Paladin were pissed as hell that ______ couldn't make it. Relevance mentioned some guy, guessin thats you, and told Paladin it was all good, and BANG! Problem resolved.
Maincharacter: Really?
Talent: Ya man. I listened to your old tracks from when you still played. You know this shit. You DO IT. You feel it. You're one of us man. You might not be big yet, but you will be.
Party: You know that ya can't back down. Even when no one likes your shit you're dedicated. You just keep goin, and don't give a fuck about anything but the music.
Talent: A lot of people pander to the crowd. Their big ya, people are gonna give 'em all the respect that's due to you.
You KNOW what you want to play. You don't pander to the crowd. You paint that shit gold and you let them watch in awe. We just got lucky. People like our vibe. But its OUR vibes. Everyone else that tries to do it can't. SAme stuff, but their just copying us. Its not theirs. So even if no one likes yours right now, they'll recognize your flow, and tune in eventually.
Maincharacter: Hopefully. Probably won't happen in my life.
Party: You're not gonna stop if its too hard. You're willing to work past what's sane cause you know what it'll take. You won't stop till its done. And it's never done. So it doesn't matter if no one catches on like the way they fawn over talent. All three of us know that's not the goal. Well... i guess you might not, cause you're not their yet, but you will. There's always another angle, another sound, another thing you need to perfect or exploit.
Talent: So you'll never stop. You know what it'll take to build your music up. You understand. Neva back down.
Maincharacter: And why are Relevance and Paladin actin so mysterious?
(Talent and Party trade looks)
Party: Well what did she tell you?
Maincharacter: Told me to keep playing no matter what. Why? What's gonna happen?
Talent: *Look, this is gonna be big. We can't tell you much cause your not in, but don't worry. Just...go with whatever happens. Don't try to take charge of anything. That's why Relevance wanted an honest musician and not just a show off who wanted the lime light.*
Maincharacter: Funny. That's what she told me.
(Party stands up and grins to get the mood lighter)
Party: Don't worry about it. You'll be glad you signed on. Now watchya playin?
(They begin to talk about the set lists for the concert)

(night has fallen and people have begun showing up.)
(Chief is up on stage MCing)
(Groups of armed men are unloading crates of guns and ammo in the background)
Chief: THIS LIFE IS BULLSHIT!
(Crowd going wild)
Chief: HOW MANY OUT THERE FEEL MA SHIT? WE THA PEOPLE GOT A RIGHT!!! WE GONNA TAKE THE POWER BACK!!!!!!!!!!!
(Chief grabs an AK-47 tossed to him from back stage. He holds it up and lets loose a few rounds)
Chief: HOLD! ALL YOU MUTHAFUCKERS WHO WANNA PUSSY OUT, GET OUT NOW! 10 MINUTES THEN WE CHARGE THE ELEVATOR!!!!
(Cosette is stranded in the crowd. She struggles to get out. But the crowd is too wild and begins a mosh pit. She begins to get shoved forward towards the elevators that lead to the governmental sector. The guards surrounding the elevator begin to look nervous at the crowd and one is talking on his radio)
(four guys heave a huge crate onto the stage and break it open to reveal automatic weapons)
(In the back guys unload more crates)
(Up above the scene Relevance and Paladin watch)
Paladin: None of them are leaving.
Relevance: Told ya. No ones gonna pussy out in such a large crowd. They'd be dead the moment the reached the exit.
Paladin: It's sad. I wonder how many people will have to take a part in this that shouldn't've.
Relevance: Dunno. Look at them though. They look pretty committed to me. Half a million people. All ready to rock. Really helps that it was free.
Paladin: Ya...But why?
Relevance: Hey - more people means more force. This is good.
Paladin: Its just sad how many...
Relevance: how many lonely people there are?
Paladin: Ya....All the lonely people...*Where do they all come from?*
(elevator guards begin rushing to the scene. In a platform on the elevator above the entrance a sniper takes beads on Chief and fires)
(The bullet rips full bore through Chief's shoulder.)
CHIEF: GAHHH!!!!!
(Chief falls to all fours, gripping the mic in one hand.)
CHIEF(panting): THE BASTARDS SHOT ME! GET EM!!!!!!!!!!
(The gangsters begin tossing out all the guns, and hop into the crowd, firing their guns into the air to clear a path)
(Zombie grabs the mic)
Zombie: RUSH THE DOORS!!!! MAINCHARACTER UP NEXT!!!!
Maincharacter: Jesus Christ its a riot out there though!
Talent: take the damn stage man. Do what you're told.
(Maincharacter get up and puts on his guitar)
(Talent grabs an AK and fires a perfect shot at a guard and tears into the crowd, running for the elevators)
(Paladin addresses a gangster holding a radio)
Paladin: Is the team with bomb moving yet?
Gangster: Ya. Almost there. No ones there so it should go down.
(A line of guards holding riot shields surround the elevator)
(As the crowd rushes them they fire tear gas into the crowd)
(Cosette is still being pushed by the crowd. she's close enough to see the guards)
(Maincharacter starts into his song while scanning the crowd)
(More guards flow out of the elevator, and the guards in front begin beating down the people in the front of the crowd, and snapping handcuffs on some and throwing them to the ground.)
(The gangsters in the level below skirt through the empty streets with a heavy bomb.)
(Maincharacter spots Cosette while playing, just as she reaches the elevator)
(Cosette is pushed forward against a riot shield. The guard smashes his baton across her face and she falls forward into the row of guards)
(Another guard punches her, grabs her and snaps plasticuffs on and shoves her down before assaulting another person from the crowd.)
Maincharacter: COSETTE!!!!!!!!!
(Another guard trips over Cosette and curbstomps her)
Maincharacter: NO!!!!!!!!!
(Maincharacter begins to rush off the stage. using his guitar like a club he pushes through the masses and jumps into the fray)
(The elevator opens for reinforcements, with soldiers with high caliber weapons and a gatling gun in the center)
Soldier: Fire!
(The gatling gun rips through the crowd and the soldiers rush out)
(Paladin gets on the loud speaker)
Paladin: Keep pushing forward! Shoot down the guy on the big gun!
(Several gangsters hop on stage and lay down fire into the elevator. A grenade is tossed into it and the band of police is dispersed into the crowd.)
(Soldiers rappel down from the rafters and down the elevator. The gangsters try to keep them in check, and Paladin points them out to direct the crowds sporadic fire.)
(a upperskylight begins to open, and two attack helicopters come in, circling the stage, launching missiles into the crowd and stage)
(Maincharacter keeps fighting his way forward, then a giant blast sounds out and the elevator explodes in a ground shaking fireball)
Maincharacter: COSETTE!!!!!!!!!
(Maincharacter gets up onto a large piece of the stage)
(One of the apache helicopters fires a missle into the chunk of stage)
(Maincharacter is thrown out of the crowd and blacks out as he hits the ground)

(Maincharacter wakes up to a blinding white light. blinking several times he realizes he's in a hospital)
(He looks around and sees beds crammed into the room. The surgeons and doctors are in street clothes and have automatic rifles strapped to their backs)
Maincharacter: *What the...?*
(Maincharacter turns and spots Paladin, who turns just in time to see him awake.)
Paladin: You alright kid?
Mainchracter: Dunno...My head's splitting...
Paladin: No wonder. You got tossed like thirty feet.
Maincharacter: What the hell is this place? What the hell just happened?
Paladin: Well, you heard Chief - he'll recover by the way - the government's been pressing down too long. We're gonna flip the tables.
Maincharacter: But what is THIS place? I mean, how'd you set up a hospital already? There's an army now?
Paladin (chuckles): You didn't think i wouldn't be prepared didya? We took the hospital while the riot was going on. As far as the army goes, we're taking volunteers. My old gang's joined up as well as a few others. Right now we're holed up there.
Maincharacter: How'd we get back here?
Paladin: When the bomb went off i evacuated everyone down to the next level and separated them into units -
Maincharacter: THE BOMB! COSETTE!
(Maincharacter frantically tries to get up, but Paladin pushes him back down onto the bed.)
Paladin: There'll be time for that later. We need to reorganize first and then set up a better base.
Maincharacter: No! I have to go find Cosette!!
Paladin: Sit back down son. We didn't fix you up for no reason. You're in the army now. Here're your tags.
(Paladin throws him a pair of tags. Maincharacter turns it over in his hand.)
Maincharacter: It says Odysseus. What's that mean?
(Paladin shrugs)
Dunno. We found all the tags in a military surplus warehouse. We decided we'd just rename everyone.
(He winks)
Maincharacter: I'm not doin this. I need to find Cosette!
Paladin: You will, don't worry. Your units going after the prisoners they took. We think they've been transferred to the holding cells at the bottom of E.A.R.T.H.
Maincharacter: How'd they get them there so fast?
Paladin: Before we took out the elevator they sent all the prisoners and some of the guards down there. That's how they get floor to floor so fast. It's like an up and down bullet train. Now it can't reach the upper levels so we're gonna try to strike back at them since their troops don't have an advantage mobility-wise up their. We're sending out units for simple stuff right now - recon, neutralizing smaller enemy holds, and just annoying the hell outta them. Now get up.
(Maincharacter struggles out of bed)
Paladin: Thats good. Now get to the bottom floor, ambulance garage. That's where we've been holding briefings.
Maincharacter: Are you coming?
(Paladin laughs)
Paladin: Me kid? Hell no. I got enough to do. I just thought i'd welcome you personally into the land of the living since you'd just woken up.
Maincharacter: Well...Thanks i suppose. See ya round.
(Maincharacter gets up to leave)
Paladin: Hey - kid. Neva get caught.
(Maincharacter smiles)
Maincharacter: Never get caught.

(Maincharacter is now sitting in the ambulance bay. Zombie stands in front of their small squad briefing them. He's armed with a M249 which he's holding with one hand casually over a shoulder. The squad consists of Zombie, Maincharacter, Johnny, Stitches, Talent, and an older heavyset man named fiddler.)
Zombie: Ya get caught you die. They don't care. We're a relatively weak force, with no resources, and with no training. Fortunately, we don't have to fight them on their terms. We're gonna guerilla the shit outta them. No uniforms, just whatever we need to pop outta a doorway and shoot em before disappearing.
(tosses out a pile of elbow pads and knee pads)
Zombie: We're limited on guns and ammo, so whenever you down an enemy, grab his shit. That's how you resupply yourself. We don't have anymore resources than what it takes to gear up recruits. Consider this our training mission. Guns are in that ambulance over there, so lets figure this out fast. Who's been in the E.A.R.T.H. military before?
(an older heavy set man raises his hand, as well as Talent and Stitches)
(Zombie motions at the older guy)
Zombie: You. What was your position?
Fiddler: E.A.R.T.H. Army reserves sir, so i'll do just fine with anything you give me.
(Zombie rolls his eyes)
Zombie: What about you?
Talent: Sniper
Zombie good. Your gonna jizz over this baby then. We got a Barrett M82A1.
Talent: Sick shit man!
(Zombie motions to Stitches)
Zombie: You?
Stitches: Sniper as well sir.

(this next part is heavy on the gun names. This is for my own personal reference when i start drawing this thing. For people unfamiliar with these arms and accessories, just wiki it.)

Zombie: Well we're pressed on guns, so you can take a FAMAS assault rifle. I think we got a scope on one of em. All right, everyone pile into the ambulance. Everything else is just a mix up - we got whatever crap was left, so it'll just be a toss up of what we can and can't use, and how much you can shove into your belt. As far as assault rifles go, we have two FAMAS bullpups and a G36c. For explosives and demolition, we have an RPG-7 with three rockets, and two frag grenades. Oh, and we got a Benelli M4 Super 90 shot gun. Handguns... we got two P99's, so that's jack shit.
(Zombie hands Stitches a FAMAS with an Aimpoint CompM2 scope, a P99, and a grenade)
Zombie: Alright, you're a rifleman. Generic infantry, ok?
(Zombie hands Johnny another FAMAS)
Zombie: Alright kid - you'll be the backup rifleman. If we got too many targets you'll help him out. I'll be doing cover fire, so you shouldn't have to worry about being overrun. Its more rooftop snipers, which should be more than enough for Stitches and Talent to handle.
(Zombie takes a grenade)
Talent: You sure you don't want the other P99?
Zombie: I got my own.
(Takes out a revolver with ebony grips and intricate barrel work)
(He shoves it back into his holster)
(Zombie hands the RPG and the rockets to the Fiddler, as well as the Benelli shotgun.)
Zombie: You'll be the demolitions guy. Just blow up shit when i tell you to. Stitches, grab the Barret and a silenced P99. You're the sniper, and scout.
(Zombie hops into the front seat)
Zombie: Maincharacter, grab the G36c - sorry there's nothin else left. You'll be a scout with Stitches, and another rifleman.
(Zombie pulls the ambulance out as everyone sits in the back)
Maincharacter: What's the rush? Aren't we gonna train or something?
Zombie: Well...If i were to guess...
(Zombie is adjusting settings on a laptop by the drivers seat)
Zombie: Preadator drones are gonna wipe the shit outta that hospital in about two minutes. While Maincharacter back there was dozin we were holdin off their squads less than a block away while we rushed doctors out the back. A heli leveled the top floor but we swatted it before it could do to much damage. I'm guessin they're gonna try to send in some big guns and wipe us out before we can scatter. Which is what we're doin right now. Why? Ya didn't think we'd seriously have a 'base' did ya?
Johnny: So we're not regrouping?
(Zombie laughs)
Zombie: Fuck no kid. E.A.R.T.H.'s got surveillance everywhere. We set up a 'base' and we're gonna get hit by a hellfire missle in the next two minutes. They weren't prepared for this, and thats the only reason we held 'em of for a few hours.
Maincharacter: I was only out for a few hours?
Zombie: Yup. And to answer Johnny we don't need to regroup 'cause we'll receive all our commands via encrypted codes on this laptop.... Which should fit right into the backpack right there. Fiddler you wanna sling that on? Shove the medi kits in it. Stitches...No pun intended, but you'll be the medic. For training... Just think of this as your baptism of fire. And dammit, what's the date? This laptop's screwed up.
Fiddler: April 18th.
Zombie: Alright. So here's the deal. We're on the 1st sector. We gotta get down to the 9th. It'd take too long to drive that far, and they've probably cordoned off the car elevators. So we're gonna split up into two teams and take the subway system. Talent, take a radio. I'll take the other. I'll take the subway center, you guys hop on one and get down there. There bullet trains, so you should get down there pretty fast. Unfortunately, E.A.R.T.H. is...what? 120 miles across? So it'll take a bit. But just get in, fuck 'em up, and get the prisoners outta there. It'll be a race to get in and out.
Fiddler: What're we doin with the prisoners?
Zombie: Dunno. They'll tell us soon enough I imagine. So here's the teams - me, Fiddler, Stitches. You, Johnny, and Maincharacter will get on the nearest subway train. Tell me what number it is, and i'll route you down to where you need to be. I'll put you the level above the prison camp, and you can use the piping to get down there. Its just a dead end little stop, so, a) no one will be there, and b) its out in the open. As in, the edge of E.A.R.T.H. You fall, you're dead, and we'll never find your body. Oh, and there'll probably be a gunship there relatively quickly. So...Don't get caught looking at the view.
(Zombie pulls into a parking garage.)
Zombie: Alright, we're as close as I wanna get. Everyone ready?
(everyone nods, talent gives a thumbs up)
Zombie: Ok, its right around the corner - just go down into the subways then split up. Go!
(Everyone piles out and silently rushes to the subway entrance. Crowds stare at them widely as the dart down into the subway, and pandemonium ensues)
Johnny: Where are the guards?
Talent: Probably blasting away the hospital still. Or what's left of it. Doubt there's much. Shouldn't be long though.
(Zombie, Stitches, and the Fiddler all head into the terminal to get control of the sectors subways.)
(Talent looks into the tunnels, which is easily a dozen tracks wide)
Talent: Dammit. Doesn't look like there are any trains. We're gonna have to head into the tunnel. C'mon, lets go.
(He hops down into the tunnel and heads down into it.)
(About a hundred meters in all the lights shut out.)
Talent: Fuck! You two got lights?
Maincharacter: Nope.
Talent: Johnny?
Johnny: Ya. just a second.
(struggles for a second with the light and turns it on)
Talent: Alright, this isn't gonna work. Johnny, Maincharacter, trade guns till we get outta here.
(They switch guns and keep walking)
Talent: Keep close alright? We need to all share the light so we don't get lost.
Johnny: Wouldn't it be safer to not use the lights? They'll see us down the tunnel.
Talent: Its the E.A.R.T.H. army. If they're coming into the tunnels they'll have infrared or night vision or something. So we're screwed either way. It'd just be nicer if we had targets to aim at.
Maincharacter: Wait! I heard something!
Talent: *Up against the wall, now! Maincharacter, kill the light till whatever it is gets closer! down on the ground!*
(They all crouch in the gravel waiting)
(six guards walk through the tunnel. The only visible light comes from the green night vision goggles they're wearing)
Talent: Dont. Move.
Guard 1: I thought i saw a light down here.
Guard 2: Probably just the light from the next terminal.
Guard 1: They had to pass through here though.
Guard 3: Tthe security tapes showed 'em heading this direction.
Guard 4 (the leader): We might've missed them. Light a flare.
Talent: *Into the exit! quick!*
(Maincharacter looks up in surprise. Talent had silently snuck into a door marked 'exit')
(Maincharacter Sneaks up into the exit, helping Johnny, and whispering to him)
Maincharacter: Shhhh. Its gonna be ok.
(The guards throw a flare into the tunnel, illuminating it)
Guard 5: Nuthin' here.
Guard 4 (the leader): Alright. They might've gotten to the next terminal or snuck around us. Lets head back. Radio into base and check and see if there's anything in the next terminal. You two (points to 1 and 2) keep going to the other terminal. We'll make sure they don't double back. If they aren't down in the next terminal we'll come back and check all the exits and such.
Talent: *Shit. We're screwed.*
(maincharacter points right above them)
Maincharacter: *dude, they got a security camera right up there. We gotta go man.*
Talent: Ya. Here.
(tosses a radio to maincharacter)
Talent: Radio Zombie: Tell him he's gotta take care of security or else we're seriously fucked.
(Maincharacter clicks the radio)
Maincharacter: Zombie, you there?
(Talent motions for them to follow him down the tunnel)
(Theres a pause, and Stitches' voice comes through. Maincharacter can here gunfire in the background)
Stitches: Are you guys at the subway yet?
Maincharacter: Nope. We had to evade a patrol and duck into an emergency exit. They got cameras everywhere and their tracking us through them. We got maybe thirty seconds before they come back here.
Stitches (yelling): Well don't go out the exit. Its a mess up there. There bringing in a bunch o' bradley assault vehicles.
Maincharacter: Can you take out the security room for us?
Stitches: We're fighting in the offices right now. Securities right down this hall way. Just a sec.
(Stitches clicks the radio off and yells to the Fiddler)
Stitches: Take out the security room!!
(The Fiddler loads a rocket and stands up, firing the RPG into the security. It shatters the glass and blows away all the monitors and equipment.)
(Stitches flips back on the radio)
Stitches: Ok, we just blasted the place away. You should be good. Chances are those patrols are gonna be rushing back here. Hows Johnny?
(Maincharacter checks on Johnny, who's staring wide eye at the door, but gripping his gun.)
Maincharacter: He's shaken, but he's ok.
Stitches: Ok. Just make sure he's alright. Tell us when you get to a train. Neva get caught. Stitches out.
Talent: Ok guys, we have to wait for the guards to go back to the terminal center, then we gotta move.
(An explosion shakes the hallway)
Maincharacter: Shit! The subway centers like right over there huh?
Talent: Yup. That's probably the bradley firing away at them.
Maincharacter: Think they'll be alright?
Talent: Ya. Dunno Stitches or the Fiddler, but Zombie was in my band remember? They'll be fine so long as they still got him.
Maincharacter: But with all those soldiers...
Talent: Zombies dead remember? They can't kill him again, no matter how much they shoot him. Nuthin' short of him swallowing a grenade's gonna kill him.
Maincharacter: How'd he die? And you know...Not be all dead?
Talent (laughs): No idea. Never asked.
(there's a pause as Talent looks out the emergency exit's barred window. The soldiers can still be seen shillouted by the terminal light)
Talent: I bet i could snipe 'em through the bars if i tried. If they don't clear out soon i'll try it. Hows Johnny doing?
(Maincharacter turns around to see johnny transformed into a smaller, furrier version of himself, with wild and matted fur, and wide eyes, shaking in the corner)
Talent: What the...?
(Maincharacter rushes to johnny. He straps Johnny's gun to his back (the G38c))
Talent: Ok this is fucked up. Carry him till we get to the subway.
(Talent peeks through the bars)
Talent: alright, there gone. Lets go.
(They rush out the door and towards the light from the nearest terminal)
(As they run werewolf/johnny begins to murmur to itself)
Johnny/Werewolf: White light....white light? White light...alcohol alcohol alcohol, white light!
(Maincharacter begins to run faster)
Talent: There! get in the train!
(they slip soundlessly onto a train at the far end of the terminal)
Talent: Radio Stitches and tell him were on the train...And figure out what the hell is going on with Johnny!
(Maincharacter flips on the radio)
Maincharacter: Stitches, you there?
Stitches: Yup. We just took the control room.
Maincharacter: Ok good, we're on train number 2AB9.
(Stitches tells Zombie)
(The train begins moving, accelerating at an enormous speed)
Maincharacter: And there's something wrong with Johnny....he's like transformed or something.
Stitches: *No...*
Maincharacter: Stitches, ya there?
Stitches: How big is he?
Maincharacter: What?
Stitches: How big is whatever he transformed into?
Maincharacter: He's a little smaller than normal. Why? He's not gonna get bigger is he?
Stitches: No, no your fine. Look, i'll explain it later.
Maincharacter: But what should we do with him??
Stitches: Just keep him with you. He's not in any danger - but dont let him out of your site! I'll explain later ok?
Maincharacter: ...So what's the plan now?
Stitches: You guys continue on. We're getting evac'ed. Paladin's pissed as hell at Zombie. We weren't supposed to rush in like this. More stealth and such. The only reason we're not dead is that the control room's a friggin' bomb shelter. They're trying to cut through the door right now.
Maincharacter: Wait, how are they gonna get you out?
Stitches: One of the scouts jacked a apache. So the idea is they're gonna send in some guys who'll sabotage the tanks, and he'll fly in, level the place, and get us out before the whole damn army shows up.
Maincharacter: But i don't see how -
Stitches: Look I gotta go.
(A shell explodes outside the control room)
Maincharacter: He say's there surrounded but a heli's coming to pick them up. But i don't see how that'll work...There completely blocked in by tanks and such. It'd take an army to evac them.
Talent: Hmm...It is weird. Paladin will figure something out. Of course, we don't even know what we are, or are not capable of at this point. What'd stitches say about johnny. What's wrong with him?
Maincharacter: He didnt say what the hell happened to him, but he said it'll be alright. Just to keep him in site.
(They both glance at johnny/werewolf, who Maincharacter set on a seat)
Talent: yup...I certainly hope Paladin knows what he's doing.

(Zombie, Fiddler, and Stitches all crouch in the control center. Fiddler is down to one RPG, but has a Beowolf .50 cal assault rifle with a M203 grenade launcher, Stitches holds his FAMAS and a MP5, and Zombie holds his M249, but has two flash bang grenades and a second frag grenade on his belt)
Zombie: What'd Talent want?
Stitches: Something about Johnny. I'll tell you later.
Fiddler: Zombie, there almost through the door.
Zombie: I say we rush them.
Stitches: We're not all dead. We're not gonna make it past a few steps. How long'll it be before reinforcements get here?
Fiddler: Wanna check with the Heli?
(Zombie nods)
(Stitches unzips Fiddler's backpack and logs into a laptop and enters a video chat with the helicopter)
(Paladin looks up, fully suited in combat gear. Two hook swords are on his back, and a Maasai Seme sword in a sheath on his side , and he's holding a Beowolf assault rifle like the Fiddler's, but with an ACOG scope. Beside him sits Cowboy. Cowboy's dressed in similar combat gear like Paladin, but has an old black cowboy hat on, and two revolvers in chest holsters. He's holding a MG3, a third generation german machine gun. Also with them is Party, who's loading two MP5's.)
Paladin: What's up?
(Stitches looks at Zombie)
Stitches: Paladin's unit's picking us up.
(Zombie looks up at the ceiling and runs his hands along either side of his mohawk)
Zombie: Shit.
Stitches: When're you gonna get here?
Paladin: In about two minutes. Meet us at the subway center courtyard. We'll land there. We got scouts taking care of the armor as we speak. Paladin out.
(Screen goes black)
Stitches: Neva get caught...
(sighs)
Zombie: Well, you heard him. We gotta get to the courtyard.
Stitches: K. Just a sec.
(He shoves his MP5 into his belt.)
(Fiddler adjusts his RPG-7 and his Benelli shotgun, and Loads his Beowolf rifle.)
Zombie: Ok, so here's the plan. I'll throw a flash outside, and then We'll book it around the corner. The courtyard is like three hundred feet from here, the entrance is through the front desk services. Chances are both entrances to it from the offices and stuff are closed. So Fiddler, i want you to blow a hole through with your M203. Then we'll just hold our ground Till Paladin shows up.
(Stitches laughs and the Fiddler gives an amused grunt)
Stitches: Seems simple enough. Lets do this.
Zombie: Knew you'd like it.
(Zombie yanks back the door and tosses the flash bang into the face of a soldier holding a steel welder)
(Zombie yanks the door back shut and they hear a muffled boom and a flash of light)
(They rush out, and Zombie tosses a Frag grenade down the opposing hall and rushes for the corner of the hallway. A squad of guards have barricaded it, and a HAMMER turret fires at Zombie. Essentially dual autoshotguns, the HAMMER turret tears at Zombie, who keeps rushing and launches himself over the barricade, biting the operator, and firing his machine gun, clearing out the nest)
(Stitches and Fiddler leap over the barricade, with Stitches helping the Fiddler, just as the soldiers at the end recover from their temporary stun and begin firing at the barricade)
Zombie: Fire at this corner! It's the front desk!
(Zombie shields them as the Fiddler fires his grenade and shrapnel come at them)
(They rush into the area, crouching behind the front desk.)
(A HAMMER turret in the courtyard begins eating away the desk, and a Mk19 launches grenade after grenade into the offices, demolishing the back wall)
Zombie: WHERE THE HELL IS PALADIN!?!?!?

(Maincharacter sits on the floor of the train, looking after Johnny. Talent walks back into the section of train)
(Outside it's pouring down rain)
Talent: I found a flare gun, but nope. No guns on this train.
Maincharacter: Not even a stun gun or something? And what's with the backpack?
(nods to a bulging backpack slung over talents shoulder)
(Talent winks)
Talent: I hide these occasionally on trains. Its my bombing care package.
Maincharacter: What?
Talent: Sometimes when i think i'll take a few days to do a graffiti piece i'll leave myself a few treats and some backup cans so i can go home, then go back an finish it later.
Maincharacter: So what's in it?
Talent: Lets see... We got
(pulls out some cans)
Talent: a black, a neon green, orange, different orange - Ooo! Pink! and a cool blue. And of course,
(He pulls out a can of green paint and a roller)
(Talent picks up the roller and begins to lay a tag onto the window of the train)
Maincharacter: Wow, sure takes a lot for this stuff huh?
Talent: Hey, i use odds and ends.
Maincharacter: What's your tag?
Talent: Bird.
Maincharacter: No shit? I see your stuff everywhere! You're a legend man. You're tellin me you do all that with 'odds and ends'?
Talent: Shit, its not hard. And if i'm gettin low on paint, or at least ideas on how to make it look fly, i just buy more crap to make it work.
Maincharacter: Why Bird?
Talent: Dunno. It represents freedom i guess. Not like politically, but in life. People are always gettin' you down, tellin' you what you can and can't do. And here, you got his BIRD. Its the one animal that can fly. Everyone, everything has to bow down to gravity. Its the ultimate law. And here you got this tiny little animal, who's thrown its middle finger up and decided to fly anyways. So its a great role model, ya know? Oh. And birds can sing.
Maincharacter (laughs): What?
Talent: You know. Singing. I can't sing. I can board, tag, play guitar, shoot, play video games, play sports, you name it. But i can't sing to save my life. So they way i see it, the birds the one thing in this life that can one-up me. And just like flying, its one of the few animals that can sing. So i suppose its a tribute too.
(Maincharacter pauses and thinks for a moment)
(Talent continues to paint. He finishes and picks up a can)
Maincharacter: So what else you got in that bag of yours?
Talent (laughs): Inspiration and munchies.
(Maincharacter pulls out a dimebag of superfire and turns the backpack over to empty out a dozen granola bars.)
(Talent stops and hops down)
Talent: Nice! Its the good kind! These have like a layer of peanut butter on the bottom.
(He unwraps it and shoves it in his mouth)
Talent: Couner' aks da weed. Is good fo ya do.
(his mouth is full causing muffling)
(Maincharacter laughs)
Maincharacter: Sure. You know i've never smoked weed right?
(Talent crouches on the seat above him and swallows the rest of the granola bar)
Talent: Well, its an optimal time to start, is it not? Check the bag - it should have an apple in the front.
(Maincharacter zips open the front)
Maincharacter: Ya its right - oh dude thats gross.
(pulls out a hamburger and old fries)
Talent: Oh...umm, you know there not half bad.
Maincharacter: Dude...how long have these been in here?
Talent: Ok, like a week old. I wouldn't have eaten it. I thought i'd be back that night and never got around to it.
(Maincharacter laughs and Talent grins)
Maincharacter: So why'd you want the apple?
Talent: We need a pipe no? Toss me the apple
(Maincharacter tosses him the apple)
Maincharacter: the apple's probably rottin' too.
Talent: Now watch closely.
(He rips off the stem and then drives a pencil straight through it. He yanks it out, blows the hole clean, and then drives the pencil halfway through one of the sides, and then yanks it out and cleans the hole.)
Talent: And Viola! We have a pipe. Now hand me the sack.
(Maincharacter passes it to Talent, who light up and takes a puff of the apple)
(He passes the pip back to Maincharacter)
Maincharacter: Guess your right.
(He lights up)
(He turns red and begins coughing)
(Talent Begins to crack up)
(Suddenly werewolf/Johnny begins sniffing the air and crawls over to maincharacter)
Talent: Shit that's weird.
(Werewolf grabs the apple)
Talent: Let it have it. Don't spill the weed
(Werewolf sucks at the apple, but, not having the lighter doesn't get anything)
(Talent and Maincharacter look at each other as werewolf stares up at them)
Maincharacter: Should we let it have it?
Talent: Sure. I guess. It hasn't responded to anything else. Is...Do you think its still johnny?
(Maincharacter lights it for werewolf)
(Werewolf sucks it in then blows it out)
Maincharacter: Its stopped shaking at least.
Talent: Ya. We gotta tell Stitches about this too. Its his little bro right?
Maincharacter: Dunno. Suppose we'll ask that too.
Talent: Alright. Well, suppose its a real pot circle now. Pass it to me after he's taken a puff. We probably got another two hours at least before we get to the place.
(Werewolf crawls over and hands the apple and lighter to Talent)
Talent: Hey look at that! He's like a lil' monkey.
(Talent lights it and then passes it back to Maincharacter)
(Talent resumes spraying the windows)
(Maincharacter takes a draw, and passes it back to Werewolf)
(Maincharacter leans back against one of the seats)
Maincharacter: *What a fucked up day*
Talent: True that.

(Stitches, Zombie, and the Fiddler hide behind the remnants of the desk, gunfire and explosions shaking the ground)
Stitches: Listen!
(The 'whump whump' of a helicopter can be heard)
Zombie: It's Paladin! Alright, get up! Lets Go!
(The Apache swings into view, releasing a blast of machine gun fire, along with launching two hellfire missiles into nearby restaurants holding soldiers)
(Party fires from a M61 Vulcan mini gun attached to the helicopter's side door )
(Paladin and Cowboy leap down and take cover in the fountain in the center, firing over at the various soldiers)
(Zombie stands up and fires at soldiers advancing on the fountain)
(Zombie hops over the desk and starts moving towards the fountain. Stitches and the Fiddler begin moving cautiously around the desk, taking cover as they try to keep up)
(Paladin and Cowboy get up and rush into the shops)
(Paladin takes out his seme and slices through several soldiers through a series of blows, firing blind at the soldiers hiding in the back. Taking out all the soldiers in the front, he runs into the kitchen taking out all the soldiers with his assault rifle.)
(Cowboy, in the shop beside him, wipes out the guards with his machine gun, and moves shop to shop, until the gun clicks empty. He tosses it onto his back and takes out the few remaining soldiers with his revolvers.)
(The area is clear, aside from a few guards here and there that Zombie is fighting. Zombie spots one that promptly scoots back into a corner, evidently having a broken leg. Zombie stops and kicks the gun out of his hand and draws his revolver)
Zombie: You feelin' lucky punk?
(Zombie levels the revolver with the guards head and cocks the gun)
(Zombie suddenly shoots the guard, but with his rifle that the soldier wasn't paying attention to)
Zombie: Sorry...I'm not Dirty Harry.
(Zombie gets up and turns to see Stitches who was standing behind him watching)
Stitches: Why'd you do that?
Zombie: Take no prisoners. Had to shoot him
Stitches: No, i mean why'd you toy with him first?
Zombie: Dunno.
(Stitches gets a bitter look on his face)
Stitches: Is it entertaining or something?
Zombie: Sometimes.
Stitches: Do you even care?
Zombie: I don't give two shits.
Stitches: Oh ya i forgot...You can't feel anything can you?
(Zombie gets angry)
Zombie: Ya, well, if i cared i woulda ended up looking like you huh? Oh, and your bitch is cheating on you again so there's where caring gets you
(Stitches comes out with a full on haymaker and whacks Zombie across the face)
(Zombie twists and punches him back, knocking Stitches over)
Zombie: I can't feel it remember?
(Zombie kicks him in the face and walks off to the helicopter)
(Stitches glares as Zombie gets onto the helicopter, but gets up and walks to the helicopter)
(Paladin and Cowboy are the last two in. As they hop in Paladin signals for the helicopter to take off)
(As the helicopter takes off Paladin sheaths his seme and turns to Zombie)
Paladin: What the hell was that?
Zombie: We got half our squad going down to the prison camps. Mission accomplished.
Paladin: Yes, by jacking the WHOLE DAMN SUBWAY SYSTEM! In two minutes we wouldn't have been able to get you out! You got lucky that they weren't expecting someone to be that goddamn stupid!... Who's even on the train right now?
Zombie: Maincharacter, Talent, and Johnny.
Paladin: Johnny?
Zombie: Stitches little brother.
Paladin: Oh good! So we have two musicians and a kid going into the dead center of hell! Well this was all in all worth it wasn't it! Ooo! And the element of surprise! They totally have that now! All of E.A.R.T.H. is gonna be watchin that sub to see where it ends up! You know tht every other squad is headed down there? Like half our troops are headed down there!
Zombie: Alright. point taken. where to now?
Paladin: I'm calling it off.
Zombie: What?
Paladin: Its not worth our limited resources. We'll do it. Just not yet.
Cowboy: So what're we gonna do instead.
Paladin: Go home.
Zombie: We're giving up?
Paladin: No. We're just done for the day. Pick up the guys on the train, hide everything, and go home.
Cowboy: But what about the soldiers?
Paladin: Who're they gonna fight? Themselves? There's no ground for them to take, no enemies to fight. So we go pick up the guys on the train, and we go home. Tomorrow morning we go back at it.
Stitches: How're you gonna round everyone back up?
Paladin: Mybook. Everyone checks it once an hour. So, whenever its go time, we'll have everyone within the hour.
Cowboy: And how'll they know where to go?
Paladin: Each squad has a chat room. Ours is willwallace. Yours
(motions to zombie)
Paladin: Is Valkyrie.
Zombie: Won't the enemy be monitoring it?
Paladin: Yup. But we have hundreds of thousands of people. What are they going to do? We are as the grains of sand on the beach.

(Talent, Maincharacter, and Johnny are on the train. Johnny is returning to his normal state, and they all are asleep, except for Maincharacter)
(Maincharacter lifts his head)
Maincharacter: Hey guys...
(Talent's still half asleep but drowsily responds)
Talent: What?
Maincharacter: I hear a chopper...
Talent: Radio Zombie.
(Maincharacter clicks the radio)
Maincharacter: Zombie, you there?
Zombie: Here. The helicopter is us.
Maincharacter: Ya. We heard it. Why are you here? I thought we were assaulting the prison?
Zombie: Paladin says we blew the cover. Too many people noticed. We're resuming it tomorrow.
Maincharacter: So what're we doing now then?
Zombie: Paladin's gonna drop us off in some lot and we'll go home. There's a website we're using to coordinate attacks tomorrow.
(The helicopter lands on top of the speeding train)
Zombie: get up on the roof and we'll go home.
(Maincharacter and Talent head to the exit. Maincharacter pauses to pick up a exhausted and half asleep Johnny)
(The reach one of the windows that's been broken. Stitches hangs outside it on a rope helping Talent up.)
(Maincharacter climbs up the rope as Stitches grabs Johnny)
(The helicopter silently flies through the rain and lands down in an abandoned lot. The older squad members throw a tarp over it as everyone heads down separate alleys)
(Maincharacter walks with his hands in his pockets down the alley, drenched with rain. The streets begin to look familiar and soon he reaches his house.)
(Maincharacter opens the door and walks on in. The house is dark and quiet)
Maincharacter: Cosette I'm -
(Maincharacter remembers that Cosette isn't there)
(Maincharacter walks through the house touching the last things Cosette touched. The coffee pot, the ukulele, and the seat she used to sit in)
(Walking up the staircase he sees the bathroom door open, with all her makeup on the counter)
(Going into the bedroom he sits down with his head in his hands. On the king sized bed her outline is still imprinted into the mattress and sheets. Outside the rain pours relentlessly)

Where are you? I would give anything on earth to know. Are you alright? I am so alone tonight. Its not the same without you. I wonder where you are. Are you safe? Keep her safe, Oh God, keep her safe tonight. Wherever she is. Till you bring her back to me.
