Wonderfully dark poem I wrote about some of my philosphies.
Stop talking, love, set aside the weary protests
Stop crying, love, and I’ll let you inside
Look up, love, and let me show you the new
I’ll escort you to my misery
Step you away from mystery
Stop trying, love, and I will let you in

A world past explanation
Something further within I keep
A cry out toward liberation
Whose only sanction known is sleep

Dizzy fallings, upwards none
Speaking in circles
Let me watch myself curl in
I’ll watch me fall apart

Stretched in all directions
Torn from innocence to this hell
Oblivious perceptions
Let my tiresome words compel

Bliss is the unknown
Don’t chase after illusions
Keep unknowns in your heart
It’s the only way to keep them real

Because worlds crumble to pieces
When dreams seek to come true
Chasing dreams never ceases
To destroy the chain your heart locked for you

Alas, let them rest undiscovered
To keep the mystery swaying
Fallen stars will never shine again
But hidden stars will never have to fall

So hit the ground running, my friend
And avoid all recollections
Don’t worry of the would-have-beens, my friend
And rejoice in imperfection

Now, stop talking, love, and let my words rest deeper
Stop crying, love, and just listen to your breathing
Look up, love, now that you see the new
I escorted you to misery
Stepped you away from mystery
Stop trying, love, so you can be set free.
