Short poem written for my love.
A grin ghosts across my face,
tears build up behind my eyes,
as I recall fond memories.
I start shaking,
pain seeps in,
intoxicating my body, brain and mind.
I miss your smile,
so pure, and...happy,
a smile I long to see again.
I'll try,
I'll always try,
If it makes you smile.
