open to more than just friendship
         Cast a Thought

close your curtains, sigh, weary of the world
"what else is there to do?" you wonder
and sneak a quick peek with baited line
you cast your idea & I swallow the hook

now all the discontentment,
futility, and resentment that you feel -
you can take it out on me,
because I love you
and if your feelings are a sin
then dammit I deserve your punishment too.
