This poem was written as a goodby to smoking weed after 20 years
Goodbye to you my friend
I always thought we'd stick together
till the very end.
Do you remeber when we first met?
My life was a mess
and when you came around
all my problems I thought had left.
But as I grew
I begin to see
That the problems didn't leave
but were just buried deeper inside of me.
You never really helped
You just made me forget
I forgot who I was
and what I needed to do
Now I can see it was all because of you.
My life is finally back on track
and I'm starting to heal
So I don't need to hide behind you
to be real
So once again I'll say Goodbye
too you my friend
because our time together has come to an end
