Sometimes I hate you for what you've done
And sometimes I don't realize you're gone

You're in my thoughts and in my heart
But I don't always remember who you are.

Some days I wish I could say goodbye
And some days I still don't know why

All you left me were scars that never healed
And memories that don't even seem real

Sometimes I love you more than anything
And you're the piece of me that's missing

The hardest days and nights lasted forever
But somehow you changed me for the better

Some days I wonder what I could do
Some nights I still cry thinking of you
