Grief can be hard, but what if someone could do it for you?
May I ask you a favor?
It won’t take long, I swear.
Depending on how bad the situation is;
Depending on how much I care.

Can I just ask you one question?
I’ll take out the trash, if you’d wish.
I’ll do your chores for a whole week!
I’d fix you your favorite dish.

Will you do something for me?
I promise I’ll pay you back.
With anything you ask for,
And for anything that you may lack.

May I ask you a favor?
I’ll be whoever you want me to be,
But I don’t feel like crying today, so…
Will you please just cry for me?
