It's written through the eyes of a gay teenage boy, and the discrimination he goes through
Slithering tongues lash out unexpectedly,
as their sinister words wrap around my head,
drilling their way in.

Cold, daring eyes greet mine,
as I am threatened without words.

I am anxious to slip away
from the tension that continues to build.

"Fag!",
they taunt me as I stand,
petrified,
unable to move.

I don't have an angel to save me.
I am nothing but a sin to humanity,
a disgrace.

All of this brutal hate,
all of it only because…
I am gay.
