Something I wrote to reflect what is happening in my life...
A Bubble To Hold

Aching from a spill over rocks

I brush myself off, and continue

Onward. The sun smiles down upon

Me. I soak up the rays, beaming. Happy.

The sun, so high up,

Casts shadows behind me.

I run. Run away from the frightening

Dark. Still behind me. Running.

That is when a bubble apears before me.

Another. From where?

They travel on the wind.

I stop to watch. Dancing.

All around me, being swallowed.

Bubbles leave a sticky mess

When they come in contact with my skin.

Soapy, but I feel dirty. Sad.

Then comes The Bubble.

No different from the rest.

And yet maybe--

My hand extends. Reaching. POP!
