Craving another's love.
You'll never know the way your voice captures me,
Make me your consort or tear my heart out because all I want is you.
I'm losing my mind with desire and all you do is watch as I fight with myself for control of my better half.
My world is falling down around me and you seem to find that much of myself amusing.
Blame it on my utter weakness for a beautiful tragic affair;
I can't change myself for you.
My love doesn't seem to be enough and I won't lie to keep you around.
I don't want to grieve for what was never mine,
And still the humming inside my head breathes a sweet melody,
beckonding, taunting me with tantalizing promises.
Must be why Snow White took that bite,
Thinking it'd be nice to lose control and be midflight,
Above it all and hynotized by that light shining so bright.
Don't wanna look away; afraid it'll disappear.
Why can't I break the trance?
Why does it feel so wrong?
Don't want to wander aimlessly,
Make me understand the lullaby;
there must be a reason for this obsession,
For wanting to mourn your love and ignore the lesson.
I can't say no to you and have completely lost myself,
Though I don't mind in the least,
it all feels just so good to let go of this dream and be carried off to sea.
