Today is the day.
Yesterday was history, A trodden path.
A streetscape of soaring success,
and crumbling failures.
of half-built ambitions and broken hearted relations.
A street littered with abandoned aqaintances,
car wrecks and broken promises.

Tomorrow's a mystery; unchartered waters,
dark labrynths or wide open meadows.
The sun, filtering through open bush canopy,
or bone soaking drizzle in an endless bog.
To claw at the unyeilding rock of a barren mine
or share the scent of a promising spring.
To steer by spirit or obsession.

Today is all we have to prepare for tomorrow from the knowledge of yesterday.
to look back on yesterday with no regrets;
make the most of today.
to avoid the hidden shoals of tomorrow
plot your course today.
today is the tomorrow we had yesterday.
