SOMETHIN’S NOT NATURAL

That Sunday, I got up early. My job as an estate broker does not require a fixed time schedule and I do not have to attend office for the same. My home doubles up as my office and my cell phone as my assistant. I called Piya and informed her where to meet. On my way I picked a few things to catch at lunch as we would be hungry by the time we reach my old home. I picked Piya at the coffee shop we had decided.

We were on our way when suddenly a group of big black cats cut through our way. I consider this very inauspicious. Something suddenly made me feel we were in trouble. We reached our destination and Piya got to her job. She started to make a note of what we required and explained me the amount of money we would need for the renovation.

While we were still considering other possibilities the sun had set. It had started to get chillier than expected. The winds blowing the sand away making it impossible to see the distance. I got a bit worried and suspicious. Something not natural was happening. Their was only a single light working. Piya was almost trembling and I could see the scare in her eyes.

Suddenly a window pane crashed and water started pouring in from it. I looked outside, shocked to see no rain. We just wanted to leave this place now. Trying in vain to open the front door, I had to quickly think of other option to leave this place, when a villainous voice filled the room with terror. The light started flickering , blood started to drop from the ceiling, foul smells and terrifying sounds adding to our scare. I could see some shadows and feel the existence of someone else in the room.

Suddenly Piya dropped to the floor. I picked her and made her sit on the chair beside me. I noticed her eyes were not blinking. She wasn’t responding. She sprang from the chair and hit me to the floor injuring my elbow. I saw Piya spitting a green fluid and blood gushing out of her ear and nose. She attacked me with great power and I fell with full force on the front door. My fall broke the door and I tried to get to the car to leave. As I reached the car I realized I had to take Piya back. I ran back inside and called for Piya she was not their. I ran upstairs and saw a stream of blood coming from the room. I did not wish to enter the room. I had to. I wanted to see Piya. I entered the room and in the faint moon light I saw a human hand.

Is it Piya’s. I did not know. I yelled for help. I went near the hand and tried to see but could not recognize . Has something wrong happened to Piya.
