I'm sat in my bedroom packing and leaving the house and relationship of 19 years..
its 3am saturday and hardly started moving,

head is banging,

tummy is turning,

a mariposa is growing.

leaving, moving,

packing, stacking,

good times, feel sad,

bad times, feel mad.

brain trying,

heart winning,

me losing + gaining,

on each packed stack

in this rut ive lived in,

will see my back.

sad thoughts becoming

tears in ones head,

that cannot come out

as would see me dead.

we must move on

oblivious to pain,

as I look out of my window

hearing the pattering rain,

birds in the distance

through darkness they tweet,

then a loud Rooaaar! of traffic

coming up my street.
