A poem comparing a childs tears to a rain storm.
Forgotten Tears

As I sit by the window
Just watching the rain,
I think of a child
With eyes full of pain.

As the dreary rain splashes
Down the cold lonely street,
I see the tear-soaked lashes
Of a child I’ll never meet.

But when the rain over,
A child’s crying is done.
Light sparkles on wet clover,
And out comes a happy sun.
