Her Path

The gazebo casting a soft light
The sun was sitting over the ocean
The waves melody crashing below

He stood looking so handsome
His eyes held a lifetime to know
Standing beside the heart full of roses

Her path was white satin and roses

Her heart held so much love for him
Her skin was soft and glowing
Gleaming were her blue eyes

The gown as white as ermine
The veil adorned with pearls
Gracefully she carried herself

Her path was white satin and roses

She walked to finally reach him
To step in the heart full of roses
Two hearts would join together

The closer she got to him
The farther he seemed away
A cold chilly wind blew her veil

Her path was white satin and roses

She came close enough to touch
As he reached out to hold her
Their fingers met in the mist

She cried as he faded away
All around her was gone
On a bench she found herself

His wedding ring in her hand
