Courage before death.
Soldier! Soldier!...get up on your feet,
Run!
find a cover that is ever so deep.
Gather up your belongings.
get ready! prepare!
the battle you awaiteth
is ever so near.

Make haste soldier!...leave nothing for dawn.
Stand to!...with your weapons,
lest your soul be gone
into that near land
where loved ones walk
to bring flowers, shed tears,
and talk.

Soldier! Soldier!...around you lies
the remnants of yesterday,
the remnants of ties
from blood to blood
from ashes to dust,
away you must fly
with the wind,
with the gust.

Soldier! Soldier!...fear not the unknown,
death brings its sorrow,
a time to moan
like leaves on an oak tree
that once was young
turns old with the days,
and comes tumbling down.

Make clear your mission...Soldier of man!
it's now you must act,
go forth!...with a plan,
Stand fast!
Hold firm!
the enemy arrives.
One shot!
two down!
no man survives.
