This poem is for the Poetry Licence Conest.
A tiny seed planted in the ground,
The planter's foot stamps and pounds.
The seed is tucked tightly inside,
Its destiny is to either grow or die.

A tiny bud fills the enclosed space,
As water fills in every place.
It pushes through the darkened soil,
Pushes fast before it spoils.

Soon the bud reaches high,
Until it shoots up and touches the sky.
A long green stem helps it escape,
No longer is death its lonely fate.

A flower blooms and grows big,
A soft pink rose the world gives.
A blossoming flower the bud has become,
To shine in its glory for everyone.
