Emily and a group of safari-loving kids are looking for the long-lost, killer Scissor Cat.
As Emily wandered through the bushes with her crew behind her, her straight blond hair had been caught in the leaves and had become straggly. "This is a known nest of Scissor cats," she whispered to Lucia, who had been standing behind her in a frenzy to get rid of her nervousness. But the silver-eyed girl was still shivering. She didn't know why she joined this team anyway. James, a tall boy with slicked back brown hair, was grinning happily. He loved scissor cats. Especially their giant scissor-like two extra limbs. He did love their extra limbs in fact, because, they could kill people. James loved the thought of killing. But Emily didn't. She was afraid her team's best effort would put them at risk for their safety, and they'd all get killed by the giant cats that roamed the forest with huge blades with sharp edges that could cut bone with less than 9% effort. Besides, Emily didn't know why she loved these killing machines. A little boy in the back, curious about the nest, peeked out of the ferns. He didn't notice the two, evil-looking blue eyes shining from the mist. A huge, black scissor cat stepped out. The boy went forward, his eyes gleaming with hope of taming the creature, unaware that this move would be his last. One sharp blade reached forward slowly, and as the child turn to ran, slit his throat. Little blood spattered against the ground, as the black brute roared ferociously, and he knew there were more children. More children to eat.

Kendraya sat at the dinner table. She had quit the 'Scissor cat club' because she was afraid that when the club went to the forest to scout for scissor cats, she'd be killed. Kendraya's parents were quite right. Scissor cats would kill any humans in their path. The cute, short girl picked up her fork and ate a small piece of broccoli. "But I'm scared for the other team members! One of them is probably killed right now!" Kendraya's mom turned her head as the phone rang, her bouncy dirty blonde hair bouncing rapidly everywhere like a bungee cord. She picked it up. She dropped her fork as a shocked look flew onto her face. Mom dropped the phone. "Barry is dead." she yelled.

The three other children, Lucia, James and Emily, were very shocked to see a tiny, blue Water Banshee crawl up to the giant Scissor cat. The water banshee growled and showed its giant teeth, leaped up, and ripped the scissor cat's throat. The giant black cat fell over, dead. Water banshees were generally graceful and friendly, but this one was not. It looked at the kids, it's bloodstained face curious.
