A very short poem.

These memories are locked,
Under stone and sands of time.
Beneath the tallest tree,
Lies my body once been blind.
My sight had been returned,
The day I found my home,
And through those darkened days,
I never walked alone.
These stains under my nails,
The grit from all my past,
I washed away the pain,
Refilling my dead heart.
