My entry for Rhythm and Rhyme Contest.
The rocks he grabbed were smooth yet rough,
Thickly embedded together.

The surrounding ground was very tough,
They were pulled together by the beautiful weather.

Huge clouds in the sky were white,
Hawks and sparrows flying through.

Hues of yellow from the sun, so bright,
Here they're all engulfed in blue.

Undergoing this exhausting trip,
Usually done on a cool day.

Unlucky for the climber, Chip,
Unbearable temperatures were
         predicted without delay.

Not giving up on his dream,
Nearly surrenduring just to sit.

Nothing can prevent him; he'll feel supreme,
Now that he's reached the top, it's all worth it.
