Why do people not understand common courtesy?
I’m not normally a vindictive type, but I’d had it with oblivious people.

My family and I were having a picnic of sorts around our small backyard swimming pool. My children were having fun splashing and playing with a beach ball when a rust-bucket Ford Taurus pulled up in front of my neighbor’s house. I could just make out a twenty something behind the wheel, his radio cranked and playing some rap. It caused shock waves in the pool. He ran inside for twenty minutes, leaving the radio cranked and the engine running. I moseyed over and noticed a ‘for sale’ sign in the window. I wrote down the number.

I had no idea what I’d do, but I knew it was going to be something.

The next week I stood behind a man at the grocery. He screamed at the cashier. “You idiot. You rang that up twice. I want a manager…” and so forth. The poor girl cried. She was new and had no idea how to reverse it, but this jerk just kept coming at her. His phone rang and I could see the little screen say “Home” and a number afterward. I wrote that down too.

I struck upon an idea and whispered “He’ll get his.” to the young lady. After doing a reverse search and finding both addresses, here was the conversation I had with jerk number one:

“Hello.”

“Hello. Do you have the Taurus for sale?”

“Yes.”

“You’re an obnoxious jerk.”

“What?”

“You heard me you lilly livered pimple.”

“Who is this?”

“I’m the guy who is going to whip your snarky little ass.”

“You wanna bet? Where are you?”

I proceeded to tell him grocery jerk's address. I took a lawn chair to watch the fireworks. Is that so bad?
