Inspired by a picture of a plant growing in an eggshell
EMBRYO (acrostic poem)

Embalmed in thin shell
My heart calls, you are
Born like gold at the
Rainbow's end;
You awaken the love within that
Only you can touch.




Embryo (a haiku)

rich sweet damp darkness
contains new life arising
in glowing colours
