A dark poem.
Deep in the dark woods the mist and fog clears
The cloaked figures remove their capes and their hoods
They reveal disturbing things which every child fears
You stummble upon thier clearing and catch a few glimpses
Their eyes so dark and cold, their faces so bright and white
If you see them, you’d think they were almost beautiful at your first sight
But then they step apart and you manage to peer
Into the middle of their circle and you start to fear
For what you are now gazing upon is bleeding and hurt
You want to help and know you can't, the thing in the clearing is fading away
A realization hits and all becomes clear, though you cannot move because of your intrigue and fear
You know that these creatures are sinners, but you cannot help to watch as they finish off the thing
One of them looks up, by chance, and you know she caught a glimpse of you
You gasp as you take in her face, ivory white and skeleton like
Your instincts kick in and you try to run, but she is fast and grabs hold of you
You yell for help, you scream and cry, you  writhe and pry
But her ice cold hands are still holding you, dragging you to her and her evil grin
You efforts are hopeless, nobody heard, and you slump to the forest floor
It's then that one of her accomplices appears and pierces you with a knife
You struggle no more as you are dragged into their circle, no longer full of life
