A funny ode to an old friend of mine.
There once was a girl named Mariah,
Who tended to be loads of fun.
While def’nitely not a pariah,
The herpes, well, she just had none.

She downloaded a video game
And became undead with the Horde.
Her best friend went and did quite the same
And never again were they bored.

Consumed with visions of humanoids,
Mariah went deeply insane.
The thing that she now deeply enjoyed
Was sniffing some vials of cocaine.

So perfectly fine, was her best friend
That ‘Riah began to wonder.
So she was worried to no end
That her dear friend might fall asunder.

“I won’t have this happen to my pal,”
‘Riah did repeatedly shout.
“Stop her from playing this game, I shall!”
Out of her house did she bolt out.

Getting to the house of her buddy,
She broke down the door and went in.
Sadly, her friend was all too bloody
Submerged in a bathtub of gin.

“I have horribly failed you, my chum!
How now will I ever go on?
I will certainly chew on this pond scum
And then go watch ‘The Wrath of Khan’.”

Mariah took her friend’s picture show
And returned to her mad household
Where she started to nasally glow.
She suddenly felt very cold.

Poor girl was dying, due to the drugs
And her dead last wish was to play WoW.
Sad, and dying, she fell to her rug;
Done, the living her brain would allow.
