To Go Against the Flow

The world is like a river,

Flowing in one direction.

This river is filthy,

With the sins of mankind.

Many just go with its flow,

Swimming in its filth.

But God calls us to swim,

Against the flow.

Because we are weak,

It’s impossible.

But God’s sent help,

Jesus Christ.

He gives strength,

To the weak.

He washes the sin from us,

Making us reborn.

With Christ, we swim against the flow,

And we will have victory,

In Christ our Lord.
