Everything seen on TV is true.
A Prayer to the Media

O great mass media
Bestow on us, your lies
Truth does not sell
Reality feeds our primitive minds

We worship you social network
Spread our petty deeds
Give us a thousand friends
Cause fake is in vogue

We know you care for us
Because you say so
You give us happiness
Until the next commercial

You are prejudice in disguise
Need to advertise
Tell us what we want to know
And nothing else

The famous don’t pay the penalty
They never go to heaven
Let us aspire to them
No happiness in ourselves

Our brains turned to mush
In your info rush
We love materialism
Addicted to its ring

Thanks for the opinions
We will spread your myths
We don’t have to think
You’ll do that for us

Amen
