A Pantoum form poem about someone searching through books on a bookshelf.
Torn out pages in an empty book
I wonder if anybody has read this story
If I were the writer I would take a second look
They have plenty of copies I shouldn't worry

I wonder if anybody has read this story
Pages and pages of empty chatter
They have plenty of copies I shouldn't worry
Time to run away from this bookshelf clatter

Pages and pages of empty chatter
Endless pages of stories untold
Time to run away from this bookshelf clatter
There is no time to behold

Endless pages of stories untold
If I were the writer I would take a second look
There is no time to behold
The torn out pages of an empty book
