         There is no fidgeting but the wavering breeze of hot gas. You stare straight into my soul as debris from our town rises in the air. Pieces ignite and dissolve in black heat once they passes the critical levels, leaving twisted trails. I watch raging comets. Cracking asphalt. A pair of sharp pupils keep my body unmoved; even if I wanted to I couldn't look away.
         I don't want to let go. There is no fumbling in your mind and gaze; it's the last place on earth where any solidity dwells. I watch the world abort itself, finally, but I also see the last human. Desperately, I wish I'd follow you.
