The moonlight still glows
The wolves in the moonlight
are howling now
for a love that can never be

The dream of my nights
My secret by day
Oh how can I let it be

The decision was made
Life had to go on
Till love's faint memory
Was all but gone

But the moonlight still glows
And the great wolves howl
My heart still aches
For that love, somehow

I'll always remember
Till death overtakes
I destroyed that love
On that Groundhog's day

The wolves in the moonlight
are howling now
for a love that can never be
