Short 300 word entry for a daily contest.
The daisy spun like a top between her fingers. It was perfect, just the way nature intended it.  Not like John. He wasn’t perfect, but she changed that.

She had changed so much for him. John wanted her to never talk to Sammy. She told him she would tell Sammy to go away. She did tell Sammy, but Sammy didn’t like being told no. Sammy would show up at the dinner table when her and John were eating and take her hand and grab a fork, spoon, food, or something, anything, with Sammy moving her hand she’d throw it at John. This got John angry, but Sammy would just laugh and run away. She told John it was Sammy but he insisted no one else was there. He accused her so much of lying to his face.

She never like the way John acted around Ty either. She’d talk to Ty because he would threaten her if she didn’t.  She remembered how Ty would say he’d hurt John if she didn’t talk to him. He would always show up when she and John were in bed together.  John would get crazy. Maybe John was crazy.  He couldn’t see Sammy and Ty after all.

Just this morning she saw a letter John wrote to her. He said he wanted out of their relationship. He addressed to letter to Rosse. After all this time he even misspelled her name.  R-O-S-E. Was that so hard.

She waited for him to come home. Sammy and Ty told her what she must do, and they were her friends.

The hammer wasn’t sharp, but he bleed a lot. Just like they said he would. She let the daisy fall into a pool of his blood so he could feel what perfection was. He was now perfection.
