A prose poem I wrote a long time ago ...


If I had the chance, I would hold your lips for ransom, and the payment would be the key to your heart.
If I had the chance, I would wrap you up in me, that I may keep you warm in the cold and safe against all danger.
If only you`d let me, I`d look into your eyes, and read the contents of your soul.
And

If I had the chance,I would surrender my love to you that we may be together forever and evermore.
