Inspired by a child's fingerpainting
Isabella paints in red
a rockman standing on the shore
of a long-forgotten sea
in half-remembered days of yore;

Blood red tears fall from his eyes
as the dying sunset shines
on the long-forgotten sea
on Zolar at the dawn of time;

He has come to say 'farewell'
to the lovely deep red sea,
None will hear his rumbling song,
for he's the last of his species;

Only rocks by a blood red sea
will brave explorers someday find,
Teardrops shed for a long dead race
by this being at dawn's time.

Inspired by a finger-painting by a young girl named Isabella, which I saw hanging in her family's store at the Mall. It was all in shades of red, and I doubt she intended to put a Rockman there.
