This is one incident that made us admire our teacher
Can you define your favorite teacher? Why did is he/she your favorite teacher? What did she do to be admired by you? Well here is my story about my sixth grade teacher.

Ever since I came to my elementary school, I always loved that school. Everything about it made me so happy, the teachers there were great but there was nobody greater than my sixth grade teacher. She was a bit old but I kept hearing rumors that back then she was as beautiful as the woman who acted as Wonder Woman(Lynda Carter). She is scary when you hear her shout. But amazingly she is really good in teaching us (She is teaching Social Studies), we can easily understand the lesson. It somewhat like a magic but even the naughtiest student in our class could be tamed by her. She would always say, "Enjoy how we treat you here because when you come into your highschool days it would be different." And I would ask myself, why the heck would be highschool life be different?

One day, in the middle of Febuary when one of my classmates was gone absent for almost 4 straight days. My teacher started asking our classmates about him but we don't have a clue where exactly he is or what happened to him. My best friend who happened to be my missing classmate's cousin told our teacher that our missing classmate is actually really "missing"! Our whole class together with our teacher went into the house of our classmate and there we found the truth.

"He run away..."said the mother of my classmate.

"If he continues to be absent he might not be able to graduate" our teacher stated.

We are so worried that we won't be able to graduate together. We looked at each other and at our teacher.

"...I'm giving another 4 days, and in that four days he still didn't come then...it's decided. I'm going to look for him too, so please help us."

After 2 days I news came to us that in a certain place our classmate was spotted. He was staying with his auntie without her mom's concent. After the class even the clouds seems to be dark we went out to find our classmate with our teacher. Our teacher was so worried that even it started rainning she didn't stopped, we asked her to go home already because it's bad for her health but she didn't listen. About an hour passed we saw our classmate running towards our teacher with an umbrella.

"ma'am please go home now." he said.

Our teacher smiled,"I'm going home now, cause I'm finally at ease."

Our classmate almost cried after hearing that.

"Its not good running away from home, your mom is worried and so are we. Your friends are here because they are worried, everybody here is worried so please come back."

Just like a mother caring, loving and worrying for her child. A remarkable love of the teacher to her student was what we admired about her.

Because of her  affection our classmate was able to graduate. A teacher and also a hero she truly was. This story is dedicated to our dearest, beloved teacher; Mrs. Ester Walo.
