Writing about night terrors
Falling to sleep,
seems hard to do.
Shut your eyes,
held together with glue.
Falling to wake,
is a terrible thing.
Having no sleep,
barely touching a dream.
Finally you pass,
into the night.
Only to be woken,
by a terrible fright.
Looking around for that red glow,
though you shouldn't,
you move the pillow.
Only half an hour,
since my mind slipt away.
Then got ripped back to life,
by a terror they say.
So I turn again,
and wait a long time.
Praying for Gods sake,
of not falling awake.
